We're going to be adding some audio of Karina reading one of her Fan Fiction prologues, an excerpt from her debate and eventually the video of her memorial service. Karina also loved art and design and did some user interaction design work for a Stanford Coursera class. She always helped critique and re-design our websites and graphic materials. Her feedback was at times tough to listen to, but she was always right on target!

Karina's Friends

Karina loved to be a mother to newbies on Neopets. When she had outgrown Pandora, there was an outpouring of thanks from the girls who she helped orient and made feel welcome.

Music

Karina loved music - and she used it as an inspiration for writing as well as when she went to the hospital, had to face knew challenges, or even when she went to sleep. She had such strong musical imagery that she didn't always need to listen to hear the music and the words - and that was valuable as her hospital journeys grew more complex.
