Karina, Games, and Gaming

Karina had a lifelong love of games that was fueled by a natural competitive spirit, but also a love of complexity, dynamic situations, strategic problem solving, mathematics, and pattern and network thinking. As a child, Karina loved math puzzles and card games, but as she grew older, she also loved game theory, complex online and Xbox games and helped manage online war games like World World III or Hunger Games Mafia. It helped that Karina participated in debate, but also Model UN, which emphasized alliances, negotiation, strategy, and conflict resolution.
